Belgomilk Ingredients is one of the largest European suppliers of mozzarella cheese for pizza toppings or slices.
Mozzarella is a fresh, semi-soft cheese that originated in Italy. It is also referred to as pasta filata (cheese which is boiled and kneaded during production, giving the cheese its characteristic stringy texture when heated).
Belgomilk mozzarella is made from the best pure and unadulterated cow’s milk. It is characterised by its sublime and mild taste that is reminiscent of fresh milk, as well as its outstanding grating and baking properties. It exhibits ideal elasticity and melting behaviour, as well as a soft, creamy feel on the palate. It gives pizza an attractive dark yellow to brown colour - but never a burned colour.
We offer mozzarella in loaves (blocks) of 2.5 kg. The mozzarella loaves are supplied in packages of four individually wrapped loaves (multi-loaf) or in single-loaf packages. We package 8 loaves (i.e. 2 multi-loaves or 8 single loaves) to a box (with a total weight of 20 kg).
Belgomilk Ingredients also offers grated mozzarella as well as grated blends that are based on Belgomilk mozzarella. We can prepare custom mixes for you based on your specifications for the blend, cut, packaging type, baking properties and shelf life. Thanks to our unique cutting technology, we can offer you a precise cut tailored to your needs.
We generally offer grated mozzarella blends in 2 kg plastic bags. 1 kg and 500 g bags are also possible.
Our R&D department would be happy to work with you to develop the best mozzarella for your specific application.
In addition to mozzarella, we also offer cheddar cheese.
